This is an English chest made circa 1820 done in Walnut and Oyster Cut Yew Wood. The top has a Walnut Banding with an Ebony String Inlay and Oyster Yew to it's middle. There is a nicely molded edge to the top. Each of the drawers is done in the same manner and wood. Both the right and left sides have a Walnut Banding with a String Inlay of Ebony and Walnut to it's middle. The chest sits on a very pretty set of Bracket Feet. It has very nice quality brass hardware throughout. The finish and overall condition of the chest is excellent. The Oyster Yew on this Chest is stunning and as nice as I have ever seen. It is beautiful. It measures 43 1/2 in. wide x 21 in. deep x 41 1/2 in. tall.
